I am super fresh to blogging, but I have learned A LOT in my few months. I have researched all ends of the internet world to compose as much information as possible to be successful. Let me tell you, if you’re looking to blog for profit, you don’t need to take this blogging journey lightly. It is a lot of work and willpower!
In this post, I am going to provide you with some girl boss blogs with the best info on blogging. They have built their blogs from the ground up and they share some great tips on how to start up your blog, how to write a great blog post, and how to monetize your blog.
I have Cassie’s blog first because she is the reason I started blogging. I was browsing on Pinterest one evening looking for some printable monthly calendars to meal plan and Cassie came through! Cassie’s blog is about finding yourself after becoming a mother. Not only does she have some amazing advice on motherhood and keeping up with the trends, but she also has a part of her blog designated to starting a blog and some helpful tools to help you get started. My favorite thing about Cassie’s blog is her “income reports”. She gives you a breakdown of her earnings for the month, what worked the best for that specific month and what didn’t work, and a list of her goals for the month ahead. Check her out on Insta, she has a giveaway about once a month and she has the coolest sense of style!
I found Busy Budgeter while reading Cassie Scroggins’s income reports. Cassie mentions RoseMarie of Busy Budgeter as the blog that got her interested in the idea of blogging. In her Busy Budgeter blog, RoseMarie primarily offers budgeting materials and tips on keeping your home in order. Additionally, she has a couple of posts all about blogging, covering the “how to’s” and the “FAQs”. I love how she also shares questionnaire reports from up-and-coming bloggers wanting to improve their strategies.
Making Sense of Cents – Michelle
I found Making Sense of Cents, surfing through Pinterest trying to find easy ways to make money. Michelle of Making Sense of Cents has a fantastic blog for anyone looking to manage their money better, how to save money, and where to find some side hustles to make extra cash flow. Michelle also has a FREE blog course right now that you can sign up for. I don’t know about you but when I see FREE blogging learning materials, I jump on it! On top of the Free blog course, she also offers an affiliate
marketing course.
Sara with Gathering Dreams makes all her dreams a reality and created a blog to help people turn their health dreams, money dreams, and travel dreams into reality. In addition to her delicious recipes, budgeting advice, and travel guidance, Sara also has a VERY informative blog post about the important first steps in launching your new blog.
I was researching SEO, on YouTube, when I came across BSL. Let me tell you!… This girl has got drive! I have watched nearly all of her YouTube Videos about creating and having a successful blog. She started blogging in college as a way to make additional income and the best advice I have received so far is from BSL – in one of her vlogs she said, “Treat your blog like a job if you want to be successful.” – that has stuck with me since I’ve watched it. BSL has a plethora of great tools to get you going and aim you towards success. You can check her out on most platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc)!
I have learned a lot so far in my first 2 months of my blogging adventure from these amazing girl boss bloggers. Their drive to provide top-notch content in their niche, as well as provide “how to” blogging advice, for new bloggers like you and me, is incredible and admirable. I am eternally grateful for them.
